Joni was the Director/Producer of “Joni’s Jukebox Revue” and the lead singer of “Joni and the Jeanies” song and dance group. Joni’s group performed at Seaport Village, The San Diego Fair, and at classic car shows. They also performed at many Retirement Homes in San Diego, including: The Glen in Scripps Ranch, Lantern Crest, The Remington Club, Silvergate in Rancho Bernardo and San Marcos, Atria La Jolla, Paradise Village, and more.
As a solo artist, Joni has appeared in numerous Cabaret Shows in San Diego, Palm Springs, and Hollywood. She was also a singer, dancer and senior show girl in the San Diego Senior Follies.
Additionally, Joni was Ms. Senior San Diego 2017. She has appeared on local television and spoken on local radio.
She was a long term member of Toastmasters International. She was a previous Toastmaster Club President and was “Toastmaster of the Year” of the Newport Beach Distinguished Toastmasters Club.
In her previous career as a Contracts Manager, Joni was a proficient speaker, often giving presentations to US Navy Officials.
